Where to go?

Posted: November 1, 2010 in Uncategorized

I have been reading the book of Joshua in my devotions and I was struck at how awesome it connects to what we are trying to do in people’s lives as coaches. In Joshua 1 he gets his instructions from God. Joshua get’s his marching orders or vision from God and that was to go into the land and possess it. Then in 1:7 God reminds him to be strong and courageous.

I don’t know about you but I have been asked many times in my coaching conversations where do I go, what is my next step, or something similar. Joshua gives a great example of what we are to do. We are to go to God for the vision. As a coach are you pointing people to connect with God? Are you connecting with God? Then if you as a coach are praying with them and confirm where God has called them encourage them to be courageous. We know that if God has called us he will take care of us. For some people where they sense God calling them can be very scary which is why it is important that we as coaches are encouraging them to connect with God as well as connecting with God ourselves.

How is your coaching journey going?

How are you and those you are coaching connecting with God?

God is doing some amazing things in the coaching ministry so far this year.

1. We have over 70 people involved in coaching

2. We have a mid-sized coaching group starting

3. We are seeing many people take the next step in their walk with God because of 1 on 1 discipleship

4. We’ve seen people who have sat in the pew for 11 years doing nothing get involved because of coaching, many feeling the call towards full time ministry, followers become leaders, people walking away from God come back to him, and many other powerful stories. God is moving among us.

How are you doing?

How can we help?

Coaching Meeting August 2010

We currently have over 70 people involved in one on one discipleship coaching at Princeton Alliance Church and over the next year we hope to see that number more than doubled. It is awesome to see God move in Discipleship Coaching here at PAC. I believe that God is going to do some great things in developing leaders for our next phase of ministry. To accomplish all that God has for us we need leaders who are developing leaders which is why we have this ministry at PAC.

Please know as being in the coaching ministry at PAC you are an essential element to making the vision of PAC happen. Without you our vision would just be words on a page. Thank you for helping people live life to the fullest in Jesus through discipleship coaching.
